Challenge?
Before SurveyJazz, field surveys were often conducted using pen-and-paper methods, which posed serious challenges in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Collecting responses in remote locations such as rural areas, ships, or aircraft meant long delays in data entry and increased potential for human error.
The client needed a mobile survey tool that worked offline, could capture rich contextual data (like photos, GPS coordinates, and voice notes), and could instantly sync with analytics platforms like LimeSurvey once a connection was available.
In addition, there was growing demand for self-service survey kiosks, where respondents could fill out forms independently, without interviewer guidance. The challenge was to digitize the process without sacrificing flexibility or field-readiness and to dramatically reduce the workload of survey conductors in the process.

Agmis designed and developed SurveyJazz, a fully digital, tablet-based survey platform tailored for professional, on-the-go data collection. The app supports multiple input modes including text, voice, photo, and touchscreen, and works seamlessly on tablets or self-service kiosks, allowing respondents to fill out surveys independently when needed.
A key feature is its robust offline functionality, enabling data capture even in no-internet zones like ships, aircraft, or remote rural areas. Once reconnected, SurveyJazz synchronizes with LimeSurvey, ensuring that all collected data is securely uploaded to the central server. The platform also supports geotagging, voice notes, and photo documentation, enriching survey responses with valuable context.
